Sue Green

IAL’s Most Dedicated
July 2006

It is with great pleasure that we recognize Sue Green as our most dedicated client for the month of July 2006.

About Sue

Sue, 54, has been training at IAL for over 1 year now and continues to impress us all with her enthusiasm and dedication to active living. This past year has been extremely busy for Sue. In addition to sky diving and climbing Mount Coffin in Norway, Sue successfully climbed the highest peak in Africa – Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon returning to Canada, Sue immediately started Dragon Boating in preparation for the upcoming World Championships in Toronto. In addition to this, Sue successfully championed a new Dragon Boat team for Integrated Active Living. Her drive and determination helped get a boat in the water, which allowed former Boot Campers the opportunity to stay active and healthy. Without Sue’s persistence and dedication, this would never have been feasible. She has been a constant promoter of active living - always leading by example.

Congratulations Sue!
Keep up the great work.

Nicole & Colleen

IAL’s Most Dedicated
June 2006

It is with great pleasure that we recognize Colleen Shields and Nicole Harrison as our most dedicated clients for the month of June 2006.

About Colleen & Nicole

Colleen and Nicole came to IAL in May combining over 70 years of active living between them. As ultra-endurance swimmers, both Nicole and Colleen have had extremely successful careers in the water including completing what is perhaps the most challenging swim in the world - crossing Lake Ontario. Obviously these two are not strangers to hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. But what is most extraordinary is the shear time and energy these two have put into training each week over the last 3 months. Three to four times a week in the pool + two workouts a week at IAL + maintaining full time jobs + driving an hour each way from Georgetown (where Colleen lives). All this sacrifice for one more chance to cross the Lake. On August 11, 2006, Colleen, at age 54, will attempt to cross Lake Ontario one more time - with the help of Nicole. IAL wishes Colleen and Nicole the best of luck!

Congratulations Nicole & Colleen!
Keep up the great work.

Barry & Sue Rae

IAL’s Most Dedicated
May 2006

It is with great pleasure that we recognize Barry Rae & Sue Rae as our most dedicated clients for the month of May 2006.

About Barry & Sue

There is so much to say about this amazing tandem training pair. Barry & Sue came to IAL in October 2005 with two goals in mind. First, and foremost, they wanted to drastically improve their health. They both stated that they wanted to lose 60 pounds. In just under 7 months Barry and Sue both lost over 60 pounds each. Barry went from 240 pounds to 176 pounds. Sue went from 192 down to 132. These achievements are not to diminish the hard work they put in the studio and at home. Barry and Sue never missed one session (90 in a row). Barry & Sue’s second goal was to make active living apart of their lives. It’s no surprise that they accomplished this and continue to exercise a minimum of 3x per week on their own.

Congratulations Barry & Sue!
Keep up the great work.

Bill Cook

IAL’s Most Dedicated
April 2006

IAL is proud to recognize Bill Cook as our most dedicated client for the month of April 2006.

About Bill

Bill, age 49, has been training hard at Studio One for 3 months – 4 weeks at Boot Camp and 8 weeks as a personal consultation client. In this time, Bill’s amazing work ethic has generated big dividends. He has lost 22 pounds and witnessed amazing increases in his strength and energy levels. At the same time, Bill continues to progress through the most difficult exercises – leaving us to employ the most advanced training techniques. Given these results, it is quite clear that Bill has made his physical fitness and health a top priority. In doing so, he has made changes to his lifestyle in all areas including nutrition and his off-day workouts when not in the studio. Bill’s dedication is a great example of how consistency and hard work can go along way to achieve your fitness goals.

Congratulations Bill!
Keep up the great work.

Tony Ponikvar

IAL’s Most Dedicated
March 2006

We are extremely pleased to honour Tony Ponikvar as our most dedicated client for the month of March 2006.

About Tony

There is so much to say about this happily married, father of four. Tony, age 40, has been a mainstay at IAL since our opening in August of 2005. In this time, we have yet to meet another client with as much enthusiasm and spirit for active living. A constant workhorse, we rarely have to tell him to push harder. If anything we have to tell him to slow down! Add to this his friendly disposition and there is never a dull moment when Tony is around. Tony has accomplished many milestones during his time at IAL, but his most important feat has been the consistency with which he makes active living apart of his life. His goal was to be fit for his family and he continues to push towards that goal every month; consciously making healthier choices in everything he does.

Congratulations Tony!
Keep up the great work.
